Dave Fellows, Kristin Dolan, Curtis Symonds, Lou Borelli and Amy Maclean to enter the Cable Hall of Fame. The induction will be held Thursday, April 23, 2026 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in NYC.

Nominations for the 2026 Class of Cable TV Pioneers are now open. To be eligible, candidates must have a minimum of 20 years of direct involvement in the cable industry and be sponsored by two Pioneers, each with at least three years of good standing.

It is with heavy hearts and fond memories that we acknowledge the recent passings of several of our fellow Cable TV Pioneers. Their contributions, leadership, and friendship left a lasting mark on our industry and community.

A big congratulations to fellow Pioneers Susan Bitter Smith and R. Thomas Umstead on their recent honors. Susan has been named as an Outstanding Women in Business by the Phoenix Business Journal and Tom has been named as a T. Howard Honoree for the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Philadelphia and Orlando –the anniversary just kept growing. Cable TV Pioneers host 50th Anniversary Reception for members at 2016 The Independent and September SCTE Shows. The Cable TV Pioneers will hold their 51 st annual banquet in Denver on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 immediately prior to the opening of SCTE/ISBE Cable-Tec Expo, it, was announced by Cable TV Pioneer chairwoman, Susan Bitter Smith.
